PJ Appliance came out to work on the dryer. Submitting a claim was fairly easy. We set up an appointment and PJ Appliance were there at the earlier side of the appointment. So they were pretty prompt. I've had American Home Shield for decades now and I'm happy with them.
A-US Air of Texas was amazing. They were in and out. The appointment and the technicians were wonderful. The AC froze. They looked at it and they said, "I had to go get a part." They came back and they fixed it. Everything is working extremely well since then. I work for a hospital, and new physicians get hired on and I've recommended American Home Shield several times. The American Home Shield website is pretty user-friendly. We've had a few claims with them and some have been really fast and good, but some of them have been slow to get out there. We had a plumbing issue and Plumb Tex did the job to satisfaction. Everything has been fine, as far as we know. Getting the plumbing issue fixed allowed us to be able to do our dishes.
Lior ************************** was a pleasure to work with. He quickly diagnosed our ** refrigerator needed a new compressor and ordered the part through ***. Unfortunately we had an extended wait for the part to arrive but once it did, Lior's friendly can-do attitude made it a pleasure to have him in our home as he professionally went about his task. I would highly recommend his services to anyone requiring appliance repair work.
I had a number of things to be done and R&R came out the next day. The tech did everything that I needed to be done. He took care of everything. Things are going fine except one thing. He installed a GFI but my weed-whacker keeps tripping it. After a while, I'll have to wait a while and reset again.
I've had a very good experience with American Home Shield. When I had an issue with the sink, I called them to let them know and they were good. A guy from Dave's Plumbing Repair came by the next day. The service was good and it helped because it moved fast.
I have two neighbors who got Home Shield because of me, because they asked me who was I using some years ago. One neighbor still has it, but my other neighbor got upset about something. Home Shield has their lower-grade, mid-grade and higher-grade. I have the higher-grade. She needs a new air conditioner. I was trying to find out why she had to pay a whole lot, because maybe she misunderstood and she said, "No, I called them twice and they said that's what I would have to pay." When our AC unit just stopped blowing cold, I filed the claim online and Greenway Home Services came out. It was a lot faster than I anticipated too. It happened the next day and they called ahead. The technician was also really great. He stayed outside as much as he could. Actually, I don't think he even ended up coming in the house because he was able to figure out the problem pretty quickly and replace the part. We've had American Home Shield for years and I like the convenience when something goes wrong.
American Home Shield is the service we sell with every house that I sell and it's the preferred provider for Berkshire Hathaway. I got a policy and I've had two calls since. The heating element on the microwave didn't work. It needed to be replaced and they replaced the microwave. I then called for the air conditioning.
