The technician that came to check my AC was through and explained the problem to my understanding. He was truly professional. He was on time and he called before he arrived.
I filed a claim online and I was able to put everything that I needed in the website. Seattle Home Appliance called me within that day and I was surprised. I wasn't expecting it that day. I couldn't do it so I had to do it a different day. The guy came out and he was professional. He came to the door, asked me what was wrong and I told him. He fixed it and it wasn't very long. I was able to do a wash that day.
I've had two plumbing companies come out that did two water heater deals. Then I also had an air conditioning claim. They were all great. I've used American Home Shield before and then they had the discount program going on for the first year. So I chose to use them again now.
I did a service order when our AC wasn't cooling and when the tech came, he couldn't find anything wrong with the unit. He put some more Freon in it then the house cooled down a little, but I don't feel like it's cooling like it should be cooling. Yesterday, I had the AC set for 72 and then by 6 o’clock last night, it was already up to 77 degrees in my house. I felt like the tech did everything he could do though. The pipe being on top of the water heater was broken and it would leak. I didn't notice it until I started seeing water buildup on the floor. I decided to call AHS and they sent Grade A Plumbing. The tech inspected it. He showed me where the pipe was broken and where the water was leaking through. Everything was satisfactory.
We bought a house and we took over the existing contract with AHS. Filing claims with them is very easy. I do it straight online and by email. Recently, I had a plumbing issue where they sent out Drain Masters. The techs came in a Drain Masters truck and did a very good job. They mentioned that they found a couple of problems. The one they initially came out for would've broken down at a later point had they not fixed it and they've been back out for another issue. But it all fit into the same problem on the Elite Toilets. Sears out for an appliance issue recently. They did it very well. In fact, we've had them out twice. We solved the problem. But part of it was the way that the machine operates normally is not the way one would expect from looking at the controls so we had an issue there. Other than that, it was fine. The guys who came out knew what they were doing. They were nice people to deal with. Overall, AHS is doing what they said they would.
Had an A/C thermostat problem, Electrician sent out by American Home Shield fixed the problem pronto. Great service. Glad I have AHS !! Will keep it for a long time !! Happy with it in all aspects.
We had a unit die last week and Maxair Heating & Cooling just installed a new unit. They came on Monday and determined that it was gonna have to be replaced. It was not fixable because I did not wanna pay for R22 due to the price. It was pointless to throw money away on the part. They came back on Tuesday and quoted for the replacement, what American Home Shield will pay and the upgraded system that I wanted.
