I have had AHS for two years and have used them for 4 problems. In my state AHS doesn't have many service people, but the ones they have sent have been absolutely fine. Am still shocked they replaced my expensive wall microwave and oven.

I have several contracts (different properties) with AHS. Requesting service online through my account is easy to use. However, I cannot see online what is needed whenever there is a follow up, such as authorizing some part or service no covered, I have to call the contractor or you to find out the next step. Sometimes I am told that you have not receive the contractor report. It would be nice to be able to see the entire status online. I like the piece of mind AHS provides. We had a period of bad luck with our appliances, and AHS’s contractors were promptly there each time to repair the issue. Our refrigerator required replacement, and the claim process was easy to navigate. We opted for store credit towards a purchase at Lowe’s instead of a replacement. The reimbursement value was reasonable, and the electronic gift card was delivered the next day. We’ve had an excellent experience with AHS!

AHS is great and I wouldn't be without it. I'd like to see them be a little faster is all -- that would get them five stars from me. When my AC broke a couple months ago I was dealing with 100+ degree temps for almost three days before a service technician contacted me. Of course, HVAC companies were really busy then, so maybe it wasn't their fault entirely. But I had a similar wait time for a dishwasher repair a few years back. I like the quick responsiveness of AHS and the people they send out to repair. I like peace of mind the coverage gives me. What I don't like is how reluctant they are to replace items. For example, one service looked at our air conditioner and said it needed to be replaced (of course, I get that they wanted to sell it to us). We called AHS to look at it. They fixed/replaced part of it, but not all of it and what they didn't replace we were told was likely only to last the summer.

Everything has worked out with this company so far. I did have one issue with the service rep. not repairing something he was supposed to which will result in a second service call. I only wish my wife had asked him to fix it while he was at our house but my wife hates asking questions :(.
