We live in two states. We own a property with our son in Oklahoma. Also, our son co-owns the home with us in Baton Rouge, which was where the problem happened with the air conditioning. We just made two or three payments on our account when the unit went down in our house. We have been with Home Shield for just a few short months, but when we called them, they replied promptly and were very polite. This is the 3rd time I have had to use my home warranty in the 6 years of owning my home and each time the experience has been above and beyond my expectations! The response is always quick and as a single woman it has been well worth it to me and comforting to me to know that I will be taken care of in a timely manner and with such great service.
Comfort Pros came out for two separate issues. The first of one was for the air conditioning upstairs. It was really hot on a 90-degree day and it was super humid up there. The air conditioner was doing nothing. So the tech came out and looked around it, added a couple of ounces of Freon, did a couple of tweaks and then he left. It seemed to work, so that was good. American Home Shield is usually good. But sometimes when we call, it's two weeks before they can get somebody out. So we had to call them back and they would look for somebody else. People would want them sooner and they should try to find those people. Otherwise, they've been very helpful and they get everything done. The technician from Lund Heating did a great job on our AC. Unfortunately, at the time, he was swamped. So, he came out a day later than he thought, but he kept in contact to let us know what was going on. It ... read more
Great Professionalism and dependable and we will not be without AHS.
We've been in this house a year and we've had American Home Shield since we moved in here. We also had it in our previous house for 3 or 4 years. They could find more contractors in the Gillette area. But the contractors have been great, especially the young man with the garage door that wouldn't open. He fixed it and it's running perfect now. He was here right on time, was dressed professionally, and did a professional job.
Contractor on time very excellent service Timely repair never had to wait more than 2 day for service clean up after job was finished. Call for services answered right away.
The temperature gauge in my JennAir oven wouldn't work. When you turn it on, it was on. There was no up or down. They had the model number and they checked it and said there was no replacement part for it. So they would replace the oven. It was wonderful service. J.B. Hunt delivered it right to the front door. We had someone come to my house because my ceiling fan started not to work all of a sudden. I thought it was gonna be so expensive. The tech came out and he said that it was really gone. He actually had one in and he was able to get me one and it was no cost to me. It was a win-win and it was wonderful. I've had this now for three years and it's running like a champ.My granddaughter and her fiance and a brand-new baby had nowhere to go so they came in to live with me.
