A couple of my family members and friends recommended American Home Shield and I’ve been using it for seven months. I called in a claim and the technician from Quality Air came out. I got the help and the follow-up when he was coming.
We made multiple service requests and there was one for a faucet in our kitchen. We made it at the same time that we made the swamp coolers, and we still haven't gotten that dealt with. We finally have an appointment, but it has been several weeks. And then, we have a situation with a ceiling fan that was also made at the same time. We had an electrical problem the proved to be an outage in part of our house. We contacted AHS and the company prompted assigned a contractor to fix the problem. The contractor caught another potential problem and AHS approved repair, as well. We paid the standard fee, the problem was handled by professional electricians - all without any unnecessary concern on our part. The best experience we had working with home warranty companies. Top rated, as far as we\'re concerned.
I submitted a claim online for my AC using American Home Shield's app. It was easy to navigate and the app was pretty straightforward. AHS gave me a window when to expect their contractors. As soon as I put in my claim, their contractor Advanced Appliance Services called me within five minutes. I had a garbage disposal claim put in. It was done on the same day I submitted the claim with AHS. AHS is quick and efficient so it wasn't too bad. The contractor did his job as well. The guy was very quiet, came in and barely even talked. One time, I got my water heater fixed through the gas company. Then I wanna turn in a claim to AHS. However, they said that they're the ones that had to send someone out instead. I wasn't aware of that. I ended up paying the gas company to fix my water heater instead of having them do it. ... read more
Always a great experience. My dishwasher quit working and AHS got a repairman out the next day to address the issue. Im always confident that any issue in my home can be quickly taken care of by AHS.
Everything that was done was great! The techs were knowledgeable about their job. Only complaint is when I had to call AHS 3 times and each time I had a 45 to hour wait before I could speak to someone.
There was a blockage and a leakage in the kitchen sink, and Amazing Plumbing came. The first day, the only guy came and he said he had to bring some other guy again. They came 2 days later with one other guy, cleaned the pipe and went. They thought it was fixed, but the leakage was still there beneath the disposal.
