My air conditioner wasn’t working at full power and then the air wasn’t blowing out cold air. It looked like whoever previously worked on my AC unit didn’t hook something up correctly. I filed the claim over the phone and the representative said that the window as to when to expect the contractors would be normally between the 24 to 48 hours. We had a clog in the kitchen sink. I was on hold on the phone then I decided to go to the American Home Shield website to submit the claim. It was faster. I didn't need to talk to anybody and I got a phone call afterwards. It was pretty painless. United Air Temp were amazing. They came twice and did the job. It was perfect. Overall, AHS works wonderfully. I've used them a couple of times, and it's been great. No complaints there.
At this house, I've had American Home Shield for two and a half years and I like the way they do things. I like the things that are covered and I'm happy with what I've had so far. One time, I did my claim online and it was easy. The place then called and they were super nice. They called to let me know they were on their way and when the tech came, he said the blower was out and he had to replace it. He came one day and then he had to get a part because mine is older. This was A fast and easy experience. We put the order for the work on a Sunday night, and Monday morning they called and said they would be there between 10 and 11 AM. The technician came at 10:04 AM, I figured out what it was and repaired it and was on his way within an hour. He was very friendly and wore a mask inside and while working. We are very happy with this result.
I bought a new home and AHS warranty came with the purchase of the home. I filed a claim online and they contacted me. Their service has been great.
The contractor found a problem that I’ve had for a long time. I had this leak in my ceiling from the AC, which messed up my ceiling about five years ago. It messed up my ceiling again today. I’ve had six or seven people come out here before. But this contractor found it immediately. He told me that my emergency switch was not connected to my AC system, which was why it keeps happening. There was some backup occurring. Every time we flush the toilet the water either wouldn’t flush in one of the toilets or it would. It would flush, but then it’d come out from the bottom, and then all of the shower drains would backup. Home Choice Services came out and snaked the pipes twice, but it just kept happening again. Our dryer quit working, wouldn't spin. The repairman showed up, evaluated the problem and had it fixed quickly. After the first time we used the dryer the same problem happened and we had to get the repairman back out and he figured out why the fuse kept getting burned out. The dryer works great now and we are very happy. Excellent job.
We’ve had a good experience with AHS customer service, & also the service providers they have contracted with are professional & prompt.
