My AC unit wasn't working and I went online to submit a claim like I always did. The website was good. American Home Shield did what I needed and I got what I felt like I deserved. The contractor did his job. The AC is working and everything has been good.
The warranty service is good. We had an issue with the washing machine and my wife filed the claim over the phone. Crites Heating & Cooling came out and they were good and on time.
The contractor came over and took a look at the toilet. The gentleman snaked it and felt that there was a block in the septic or sewer and asked me which one we had. I said that I think I had a sewer. I went out back and discovered I have a septic tank. We called a septic company to pump our septic and see if that would help. I like AHS. I had another company sorta like them and AHS is 100% better. When our air conditioner quit working, I called them and they got in touch with the Comfort Climate Mechanical people and sent them out here. The contractor called, told me when they were coming, and asked if the time would be okay for me. I told them, “Yeah.” They did fantastically.
The gentleman came in right on time he did excellent work and he cleaned up after he left and his attitude was very pleasant I was so happy with the work that he’s done I will recommend him to anyone
Total Air Care was excellent. I love them. The second guy found it even better than the first guy, so our air conditioner is working wonderful. The first claim on the AC was filed over the phone while the second one was done online. Both of the ways in submitting the claims to American Home Shield have been fast.
I’m a Realtor and have a lot of clients who I personally recommend having a home warranty when they’re listing their homes and once they bought a home. With the age that our home is, everything has been replaced but I felt that it would be in our best interest to have a home warranty just in case. My husband submitted a claim to American Home Shield for our grill and our oven on our Wolf cooking range. The contractor was professional. They called to keep us posted on when they were coming. The technician was prompt and called on the day of the service as well.
The fan of our AC was not working. The guy that came and fixed it hooked it up and it ran for a couple days. The tech did a good job. He said what the problem was. He was professional and friendly, knowledgeable about the system. But now it is not working again. This is a new home, and none of this should be happening because I just moved in here. Most of the system is supposed to be new. So I'm confused, I didn't expect to use my warranty until maybe a year into having it. Having it is convenient though. It is valuable.
