I am so glad I have AHS on my side. This was just for a routine check, but I have always been pleased with the services I have received. This service person was courteous, and very efficient, and had my AC running cleanly in very little time. He said it was old, but purring like a kitten.
When the AC wasn't coming on, the issue was with a fuse and something else that had gone out. The tech got the repair done in one visit, which was very quick. Usually, somebody comes out and says that they didn't have the part.
When I had an issue with my kitchen sink faucet, AHS sent someone out. They replaced it with a comparable faucet. The new faucet works fine. The plumbing issue we had was also corrected, but we still have to hold the flusher down longer than what we needed to hold it down. But that's okay. It's working. Our tech was professional, knowledgeable and prompt. He kept us informed through the entire repair. He also contacted us ahead of time to let us know he was on his way. Great job!
The dishwasher stopped working so I filed a claim with AHS. ARO Appliance Repair handled it great. The tech told me what the problem was and they tried to order a part but the dishwasher was really old and the part was no longer available. American Home Shield offered the cash-out for a new dishwasher, which we did, and got that handled.It was horrible was trying to get ahold of the person at American Home Shield because there are different departments. I submitted a claim to repair my Washer and Dryer, the technician came in a couple of days, he said that they both can be repaired , but they would needs parts , but they need to be ordered. In a week and a half my washer and dryer were working. Thank you for your prompt service.
We can submit claims online or by calling it in. Within 30 minutes, they get an email or a text message back saying who's coming out and what day they're coming out. When you put in the claim online, we also pay the upfront fee. It's $75 and it pays for the whole service fee. The furnace went kaput after we hadn't used it for a couple of days. The technician was very professional and did the job. The issue appeared to be resolved but a few hours later it came back. He did recommend that I install a larger breaker panel which I have been told before.
American Home Shield has been very easy to work with. I have never had any complaints about the company, services provided or quality of companies they have sent to my home for warranty work. I would recommend AHS to anyone looking for a home warranty company.
