Submitting requests is easy. I emailed them today and I'm waiting for a reply. I asked them if I could take a different offer, if I could change the oven that I picked out. The front glass on the door fell out and shattered, and they couldn’t find a part, so they're replacing the unit. All in all, American Home Shield did a good job.

My last appliance claim with American Home Shield for a microwave issue went very well. Sears came to do service and the techs from there were very polite. The first day they came, one young man came alone. He was at our place for an hour as he had to take the microwave apart and put it back. The second time Sears came, there were two techs and the previous tech sounded like he was training the other young man who came with him. They took the microwave apart again, put in the new part and took the old one out. They were very... read more

AHS sent out Doctor Cool and they turned out to be pretty good. I was a little concerned at first because they discovered an issue that was not covered under the home warranty, which caused me almost $600. The reasoning for not covering it was that when that service was performed by the previous owner, it was not done properly. I knew that to be a caution about these things because I know when they contract with home warranty companies, their reimbursements are limited. But I had to have air conditioning. I went two days wit... read more

I was very pleased with Comanche Appliance. My dryer did not work at all and I needed assistance with that as I had a bunch of laundries to do. When I called, the scheduling was out almost 10 days. I was told that calling the contractor directly would be fine and I did that. And when I did that, they were able to come out the next day because they had some properties right nearby that needed service too. They said they’d just catch it on the way back, and they did. The tech who came was very professional. When he left, I was... read more

I like to speak with people so I usually try to call Home Shield whenever I submit claims. It's usually pretty easy. At that time when my dishwasher was leaking, the rep was really great. 2 Bald Guys came out to fix it for me and the tech was really helpful, too. I got two more people signed up with Home Shield within the last four months because of our experience with them. I've been sharing it with others. Home Shield is really useful.

The water went through the condenser and it had gathered in the tray under the water heater. I went through online at Home Shield and I put in a request. Immediately, within a couple of minutes, I got a call. They gave me a reference number and I called United Air Temp because the alarm was going out and it was driving me nuts. All they did was empty that water and clean the hose. They were pretty good but they should have told me that water was actually coming from the air conditioner, not from the water heater. The next tim... read more

My wife had washing machine problems at her mother's house and we submitted a claim to American Home Shield. Their contractor ARRQ Appliance came out and they had to put a belt on the machine. We haven't had problems since. This warranty is good to have. It's a backup plan when we have problems with our house.

Angel worked on my wash machine and did an amazing job. Very efficient, found the problems immediately and ordered all the parts. Wore gloves, a mask and shoe coverings. Felt safe. One of the best repair people ever!

I dealt with another company when I purchase my home, but they weren't offering what I wanted. When my contract was about to expire, they went up. A friend recommended me to AHS and they offered more stuff than the other company did. AHS's website was good but when I put a claim in for my dishwasher, they must have thought I said washer. A company called and asked what problems I had with my washer. I said that it wasn't my washer and that it was my dishwasher. I had to hang up on them and call back. They told me to do anoth... read more
