We've had American Home Shield for at least 10 years and we’ve gotten our money back on a few things that we have had done with them. It’s important to have a home warranty and it’s great as long as you can afford it. Their prices have gone up, but since we got it 10 years ago, our prices haven't. At first, my experience with AHS did not look promising. Sometimes I would get the runaround from the receptionist because she didn't understand me. You have to be patient and wait to be connected to a more knowledgeable person. At the end of the day, everything worked out good.
