We just bought our house and we have a brand-new policy with American Home Shield. I called them and said I needed our house rekeyed as I understood it was under my insurance. They went online and found a service provider, Robert Greathouse, and they scheduled a time where the service provider would call in and schedule the meeting. They’ve been pretty easy to work with so far.

Everything was fine with my plumbing claim. I was very pleased with the service that was given to us. The young man was very professional, courteous and efficient. AHS had resolved the issues I had years ago. Then a couple of weeks ago, I called them because someone called me and said that because of the plumbing issue, my account was in collection. That didn’t make sense to me. The lady was very unprofessional and nasty. I also heard a baby in the background. In light of everything, people are all working from home. But som... read more

I called a service order on Friday. The sales rep tried to get me somebody within 48 hours, but nobody was available until Friday. And the appointment is gonna be at 3 o’clock. So, if it’s gonna need a part to fix the problem, it won’t be fixed until the following week. But my sales rep, Sheryl, was wonderful. She went above and beyond. She was really good at what she does. The service is amazing with American Home Shield. They don't just have enough vendors.

I made a service order when the AC unit on our house wasn't producing cold air and it was easy. I just went to the website, submitted an issue, and they assigned it to somebody quickly. The contractor called within 40 minutes and they scheduled to come that same day as well. They were looking at 2 o'clock, but they were able to come out around 10:00. The issue was a burnt capacitor, probably because of storms we've had previously, and they were able to make the fix.One of the reasons we selected American Home Shield was that... read more

GM Appliances came out for the washer. They were excellent and very timely. They came and they got the job done quickly. Flowright Plumbing was very timely too. They came out, installed the item, and got the job done.

Submitting claims with AHS is easy. When I filed a claim for my AC, it took about two days for Anders Air Conditioning to come out. It then took them under an hour to get my AC back up.

The fan of my AC unit wasn't operating. Submitting a claim to American Home Shield for its repair was a seamless process. The rep put me on hold and confirmed with a gentleman who called me right after and confirmed as well. A tech from Dynamic Air Flow LLC came and he was communicative and professional. Things have been good since he was out.

4A Appliance Repair was very nice. They unplugged the refrigerator and waited about four minutes, and then they plugged it back in, and that was it. It was so easy to fix. I could have done it myself if I would have known. It cost me $100 to unplug the refrigerator and then plug it back in. Previous to that, I had a garage door opener that was replaced, and about 90 days afterwards, it quit working. And then the contractor didn’t hook up a wire properly, so it came up. They hooked up the wire that came loose and that cost me... read more

North Star was here the Monday after we made the claim and it was handled excellently. The dishwasher wouldn't drain and the job was done in five minutes. All in all, the contractors have all been excellent so far.
