We have had American Home Shield (AMS) for over 6 years and have found them to be responsive and equipped with the resources to cover our household's major appliances at every turn. In full disclosure, at first, I thought it was cumbersome to get issues resolved, but as an engineer, I could see how AMS retooled several front-end processes and we have never had a hitch in getting a technician to accurately assess any potential problems and respond rapidly to them resolved. There was a price increase and a reduction of coverage that concerned me. Was not given much notice if any, I don't remember, but overall their service has been good. I have received top quality service except for one incident which was corrected without additional cost. Communication regarding service requests and issues has been good.
