I was having issues with my dryer so I went online and made a service request with American Home Shield. I was given an expected timeframe of within 48 hours. L and K Appliance Repair showed up within that time and they were excellent. My dyer has been fine since then.
My brother-in-law has American Home Shield and he was talking about it one Christmas. I chose to go with them and in the two years I've been with AHS, things have been great so far. The people that they put in contact with me have been very professional and they take care of my needs.
Great response with caring representatives. I have had both small and bigger claims, both were treated equal. I am so relived that I have this policy to protect my home.
US Air Conditioning of Texas replaced our air handler for our air conditioner. They were good. I was satisfied. I'm reasonably pleased with AHS as well.
I had been having a leak for about a year and a half. I called in the claim and the rep that I talked to was real nice. She said the contractor would be calling me within 24 to 48 hours, and they called me the same day. The plumber came out and he said he did something but it didn't work. Then Kenbridge Plumbing came out and they fixed it. They were good. But some of the contractors that AHS sent out here don't do a diddly-squat. A couple of days before, the weather was very bad and somehow, the electrical system tripped. The contractor came, turned it on and everything started working. They were very professional and I was very happy with them. There was no problem and everything was good. Myers Comfort Specialist of Montgomery came out. The AC has been leaking since last year. It was cold at that time, and I would wait until the following year to replace it. At first, we thought it was just stopped up, but come to find out, the coil was rusted. They had to end up replacing the air handler and the coil system. I don’t have any gripes about them. When we bought the house, the homeowners purchased a home warranty, but we weren't too happy with it. We looked into AHS and it covered a lot of things that the other warranty did not. The reviews and everything that it covered made us go with them and we've had two home warranties on our house. Submitting our claim for the stovetop and the oven was easy. Jeffrey's Appliance Service came out, diagnosed the problem, recorded the necessary data to order the parts, ordered the parts, and then came back and retrofitted the replacement parts. Everything works fine. They did a follow-up call a week or so after to my wife just to ascertain whether or not things were operating as planned.Unfortunately, I had to speak with some of Home Shield's representatives who were in the Philippines and my Tagalog is not really that good so it was difficult conveying my point.
