Member of AHS over 25 years, love the company but notice over the years that some of the contractors has been less then professional (7 - 10 wait before responding) & poor craftsmanship/quality of work (Bissett plumbing came 3 times for the same problem (leak in my bathroom & never corrected the leak), finally paid out of pocket for a plumber to come fix the problem...the 1st time.

The staff argued with me when I told them that their plumber was not acceptable, they claimed that the last 6 conversations with AHS over the weekend never took place, and AHS caused problems for me at work with their constant refusal to work with me and credit my account back for services not rendered by their contractors.The electrical contractor did not show up and I want my money refunded. Good service, but your price keeps increasing to the point that I'm paying over $1200.00 for the year IN ADDITION to the $100.00 per service.

They are very timely. However we got a 2nd opinion after w were told it was going to cost us out of piket to repair our AC, our 2nd opinion ended up costing 185.00 to totally fix the problem. The contractors they send I think are out just for the money & don't care about the customer.

now I'm not necessarily upset with American home shield I'm pissed off at Sears who came out to look at my washing machine. This is why I'm upset. And American home shield won't help me for Sears to be reasonable on a appointment date to install a part on my washing machine that has arrived at my home. not worth a single dime. they deny every request for little to no reason at all, we canceled and now they want a cancelation fee. Not paying.
