I purchased this warranty as a new homebuyer--they didn't mention that they won't cover my dishwasher because it's portable and not built it. The website mentions nothing of it either--BE SURE TO READ THE FINE PRINT.

I could not get my microwave/ oven replaced in a timely manner. Because it took so long, I was given the task of having it all done myself and I still haven't heard back from them after I sent the receipt.

Does have coverage for a lot of items in the house. Terrible customer service. Won't take responsibility for selecting bad contractors who broke other things in my house during a repair. Wouldn't reassign my claim either. Fought for over a month for them to hold their selected contractor responsible, but instead took the contractor's side. Wouldn't even waive the service fee to have someone come fix the issue.

Air conditioner was not cooling. Our hoe was 88 degrees. The company recommended came after 3 days of my informing you that we had a problem. Had a hole in the coil and was told it would take another 7-14 days to get it repaired. Had t buy a new A/C because we could not live or sleep in 88 degree house.
I have put in two service requests for a leaking toilet at Lake Tahoe and the repairman never has shown up; the requests were early September and November. We have called and sent messages but no one has responded. AHS owes us $200 and I need it refunded so I can hire an outside plumber.

I have been a paying member of American Home shield for the past 10 years. I have an older home and don’t have a lot of n be extra cash on hand in the event a major appliance goes out. I called them to inform them I had an inspection of my heat and air system and was informed it needed to be replaced. They informed me that a technician would be out to evaluate the issue.
