They take your money and look for ways to not have items fixed

Over 20 minutes I clearly stated I was charged for a service call that was cancelled and I never got a refund. She stated 4 times it was cancelled and I was not charged, but when I gave her the date and amount she said she saw the charge and I would have to send a Fax. All I want is my money back since there was no service call.

This service has been great except when we had to replace a dishwasher that wasn't fixable or to expensive to fix. There was only one option for a replacement dishwasher that was marked out of stock and was not able to be ordered. I had to go a purchase the dishwasher myself and had to pay for additional parts, delivery and installation. All the fees that had to be paid were more than the cost of the dishwasher, so I am not sure that it helped in this case. The other times that we used the plan seemed to work out just fine.

Had to call several time to get a plumber earlier than 3 days due to overflowing toilet. Had to have the AC tech come out twice and the 2nd time AHS said they wouldn't pay for the part. Called AHS - said they would call me back. No call was ever returned. NOW the AC is screeching so loud I had to put in another ticket.

the company always finds a way to no cover item. They also will keep repairing an HVAC that needs to be replaced

The technician recommended a descale of our (non functioning)water heater. We asked to schedule this service asap regardless of the AHS warranty decision. We had been without hot water for 10 days. My husband called 4 times and left messages for a follow up. After being told that our AHS warranty didn't cover the repairs, their next available appt was an additional 7 days.
