American Home Shield hires the cheapest unqualified contractors possible. It is there business model. If anything goes wrong with the work their contractors do you are on your own.

Dryer not working since initial work order of Jan 5. 5 months without a dryer. 2 boards have been replaced and still will not dry. Issued another recall and tech will not respond to customer service. I have asked for another technician but they refuse to help me.

Nothing is fixed with either appliance x working properly. Techs are aware and sent out for second opinion

I enrolled in American home shield for peace of mind. However, when my refrigerator started leaking and running like an airplane, the service provided was subpar at best. I had to take off five days of work for the refrigerator repair as the first repair did not work. I also had to empty the contents of my refrigerator and throw away all of my food each separate time as each time they repaired the refrigerator.l you have to completely defrost and unplug the appliance. if I could give it a zero stars, I would. The first technician that came out, said the blower motor was broken and I asked for a second opinion they agreed the blower motor was broken yet home shield would only replace the entire furnace that didn’t match my other two units and almost cost me almost $2000 by misdiagnosing the furnace problem. The plumbing company you had come out could not finish the job, the guys were too tall to fit under my duct, so had to get another plumbing company that could fix the pipe. Y’all should pay for it. Not my fault the plumber was to big

I feel the company spend too much time trying to avoid spending money to help.yhe consume. I get the run around and scripts read to me. I don't feel my needs are first.

My AC went out on Sunday night. AHS brags about 24/7 service requests but fails to mention that nothing will be done until the next business day. I understand they have to wait for companies to be open, but don't tout 24/7 if it's not actually 24/7 service. I called Monday morning and while the people from the Philippines are nice they do seem to have issues with telling days. I submitted my request on the 12th and 2 days later they are referring to the 12th as yesterday. It is 2 days later in extreme heat. I am still in "pe... read more
