I had to call 8 times to try to schedule a service appt for my fridge and 7 different associates were unable to help me with the simple request. One even going so far as telling me that their guidelines would not allow the appt. to be made. The last person I spoke with was finally able to assist. Felt like I was doing their job for them.

I've American Home Shield with my last two homes. It was bought by the seller. Both times American Home Shield had refused to cover the issues I was having.

The last company was EXCELLENT. They were professional, efficient, friendly and fixed the problem in one visit. However AHS is NOT CONSISTENT IN THE QUALITY/EXPERTISE OF ALL THE COMPANIES IT UTILIZES. For example, some time back at another rental property, the plumber stated a slow faucet required new pipes in the walls and thousands of dollars to fix it. I got another plumber and it was an old rubber washer blocking the pipe and it was easily fixed. Other low quality companies sent out over the years, though a few are good.... read more

The electrician needed to fix my doorbell and said it was the wire from the transformer and the wall would have to be torn out but there is a wire at the doorbell. Something is up w American Home Shield because I received surveys for Dave's Plumbing but nothing for the electrician. Nothing. Like they know it didn't go well. Not surprising. The wire for my doorbell needs to be pulled by an electrician. Unsatisfied w this service. Please give me a fix or refund for service that was not completed.

I have had a ticket since June 2022 to get attic fans replaced and still waiting. Bee passed back and forth several times

We sold our house with the America Home Shield to the new owners and it was the biggest pain to get it transferred over to them .My real estate agent and me were on a conference call with them for over a hour. It was from there call center in India and they transfer it from the new owners to the new owners when it had to be transferred from me to the new owners. It took two more days of calling them to get it straight. And then they overcharge me and I had to fight to get that back. Worst customer service ever.

They replace appliances with an inferior choice compared to the appliance we originally owned. Takes extremely too much effort in the part of the customer to get things done. It is a very stressful process. Hard to get a call back from a supervisor to correct errors made. Not informed that monthly cost was rising. Difficulty understanding customer service reps.
