AHS has only 1 hvac company to service Birmingham Alabama. I called them on Monday to get service and was told the soonest availability would be Saturday just to look at my unit. I canceled my service call and made some calls to local companies and had out to my house in a couple of hours. So of course I had to replace my hvac system. Not going through AHS for service does not allow me whatever credit that they would allow to replace the unit.

Our monthly payment has gone up more than $20/month in the last year, and that is after several years of going up a few dollars each year. We have been customers for many years, with AHS coverage on two houses for several of those years, and we have had minimal claims. We just paid $350 for 3 service calls this month: our kitchen sink was snaked, one running toilet fixed, one toilet adjusted, and an exhaust fan “looked at” but deemed “still working”. Difficult to speak to a person and unwilling to help you on a weekend. They work 8-5 even though their "customer service" line is 24/7

I had two plumbers here and both were crooks, I tried to report them. you had no interest. My old plumber fixed it without the extra charges. AHM was being RIPPED OFF and they attempted to do so to me!

AHS was unable to get a technician to me in a reasonable time frame, kept assigning 1 that does not do what i needed and 1 that was closed. it was an emergency and even became a health hazard. told me I could get my own guy but then wanted a second opinion and assigned the one who doesn't do pumps and the one that was closed. I had to get it done to be able to use any plumbing. even had to get q hotel room to use the bathroom and shower. I was then denied the clam because I had it done on my own. I received an email asking me to accept the modification charges. I accepted them. A week later AHS still has not ordered the part I need, and told me that I had to accept the modification charges - which I already had. We've been without hot water for 10 days and AHS has not resolved this.
