American home shield is a good company, but some of the workers are very rude. The contractors are very unprofessional, they give wong diagnosis. For my cooktop, 3 contractors gave wong diagnosis. I was starting to get frustrated until ASAP Company came and solve the problem.

for simple repairs they have done good job but I cannot get then to repair my jet tub they hired s plumber who told them it was the pump then they sent an electrician who told it was the pump now they want someone who works on jet rubsnto look at it but they have to be qualified and licensed. They dont have anyone in their list of contractors and they had me find one but wont take an invoice e mailed to them. They want to speak with him kn phone and he says he wont waste his time because he has dealt with warranty companies ... read more

They charge 100 to come out and the last time, we had 2 companies to come out for our air conditioner. The first company said we need 3,000 worth of work out of our pocket. The second company said we didn't need all that work, but the diagnosis was the same and we have to go with the first company. Needless to say, we had to opt in for the buy out and still have not got it fixed.

They’re a horrible company. Our fridge broke and was covered by their policy and after a weeks worth of calls they finally got someone to investigate it and look at it. They said it was so obviously broken that they would t cover it despite me reading to them verbatim from their own policy that explained how it absolutely WAS a covered problem. They refused to get their supervisor back on the phone and they refused to reopen the claim and cover it. We had to replace the whole fridge because they wouldn’t fix it and I’ve hate... read more

Right now I have three outstanding claims. My dishwasher was supposed to be delivered three days ago but I haven't heard from anyone! Other appliances are out of stock

The communication needs to improve significantly. Due to miscommunications between AHS and the vendor, my AC is still not fixed. This is already over month. To date it is still not fixed.

I have been fighting to get my water heater, faucet, and toilet fixed since January. The company they had came out, took pictures I guess and said no straps on heater... the same heater that AHS contractor replaced years ago and added the necessary straps! so denied! I would like to see the photos that were presented bc we have straps!
