Impossible to speak to a supervisor to resolve a problem. They have rejected a claim that is definitely covered by their policy but I can't get beyond one of their Indian outsourcing personnel

Very unprofessional company lack of caring no customer service and out all the time I had them to come out for service they still have not really fixed the problem the refrigerator it took them approximately 3 months to replace the compressor when it was not under a warranty I had to call Sears out to get them to tell them that it's not under warranty my opinion it's just not worth having a home warranty with American Home Shield the representative are uncaring lack of experience and just don't care if food spoil they lied a... read more

I am a little unhappy with last service. DNG appliance replaced the broken belt on my clothes dryer. The appliance didn't squeak or squeal before the belt broke but now, with a new belt, the dryer makes quite a noise. I called DNG and was told that my insurance doesn't cover noise. You replaced other stuff in the past that was making noise as the drum turned.

AHS canceled my contract without notify me,costumer service VERY poor

I've been with AHS for over 10 years, never really needed them until now. Terrible customer service. They insisted on using TexAire Heating and Air Conditioning even after the contractor didn't call me for weeks after I paid for an advertised "preventative maintenance". I had to call and call and call AHS and the contractor. The contractor would never answer calls or texts. His voicemail was full and would never return calls. 2 times have sent companies that could not resolve problem. Now sitting in a very hot house because air conditioner is still not working. Myers was to call me today but did not. Would like to discuss with AMS

I’ve used American Homeshield since 2005 when I purchased my first home in WA. As the monthly price of the warranty & of each service has increased over time, the quality of the service providers and the customer service provided by AHS has declined precipitously. It is evident the goal is NOT to provide homeowners with resolution of the issues we hope to plan for and take care of by having a home warranty in the first place, but to simply patch the issue and keep collecting the premium and service fees.
