My first experience was good but my second call was not answered. I was told to find my own repair service which I havebeen unable to do yet I am billed for a service call when there has been NO service. The reason I got AHS was so I could get qualified technicians and not have to search for them myself. the authorization to locate and hire a technician by myself is useless and I can't do it. I should not be billed $125 for a non existant service call. The phone ladies are nice but they can only do so much.

This company is not urgent when it comes to urgent matters. Furthermore, they have no interest in helping provide a contractor who is willing to work. The entire company "American" home shield is actually ran by Phillipines line operators who do not provide actual asistance and have no supervisor who can override case by case determinations and are not reachable. Every incident requires multiple calls, vendors assigned are often unresponsive, vendors rarely resolve issue in single trip.

My Samsung Refrigerator has been leaking water onto my tiled kitchen floor since God know when and AHS has since last year sent one company after another and after changing almost every part in the fridge and it is still leaking, AHS is still sending another company to troubleshoot the problem. Waste of our time. I am already removed and disposed the kitchen rug. In fact I am running out of patience and do not know what to do. Continually changing parts for the same AC unit every year. No resolution to replace unit

Bottom line AHS is more trouble than it is worth. You have to pay $125 every time they send one of their people out and they looked to find a way to not cover my broken AC unit saying it was a preexisting condition which there is no record of and I just bought the house. Also things were working well and then they weren't working so not sure how that is pre existing. They also refused to email me a copy of the denial and said it was mailed and would arrive in 7-10 days. That was weeks ago and I have not yet received it. They... read more
