I could not understand the person at the call center. The service charge has gone up from $75 to $100 with no notice to customers. Some had been out to repair my refrigerator 6 or 7 times in 2 years. I’ll see how long this repair lasts. I could have bought a very nice new fridge with all the money I have spent on American Home Shield and the service charge fees.:(

It took multiple times to get my issue resolved because initially there wasn't a vendor to service my area.

You folks sent a plumber out to investigate a water leak in my Kitchen that was was damaging my wood laminate flooring. They found a small leak in a water line behind my kitchen cabinet going to my ice maker. they just left the line, didn't replace it, or cap it off. This wasn't acceptable, at a minimum they should have replaced the the leaking line...

Just realized when I had to make a service request that I am now being charged almost $100 per month for this service and was never made aware my monthly cost was going up. Recently priced a competitor and their rate was just over $50 per month with my same service fee amount. Also have a service request in currently and have not been contacted by service provider in three days to schedule service.

Failed us both in misrepresenting our problem with the vendor who then came 2 weeks after our request of emergency plumbing issue thus the plumber was not authorized to do the actual problem that we reported. When I called to complain, the pushback was unacceptable and they refused to escalate me to file a proper complaint. More, they told me I would receive a communication within 24 hours. No urgency from majority of representatives. They seem to provide information based on what has been updated in their computers and go no further to help, even when I have checked with the assigned technician's company to get their status. Last year I waited 4 months to get my refrigerator repaired and this year, I waited 6 weeks for them to make a decision that my refrigerator had to be replaced. Very frustrating experience.
