I was authroized to seek an outside contractor now AHS refuses to reimburse me for $1250. And, I am unable to talk with the people who authorized the work to be done. I think AHS is a better company than the folks on the phone are doing in representing the company. The AHS system is broken and no one is paying attention.

There were two occasions this summer when we needed a/c service and they could not get someone out for several days. I explained that we have two very fluffy dogs that could not tolerate an un air conditioned house but they were very unsympathetic and made no effort to try and get us a quicker appt. I ended up calling my own a/c contractor who came the same day and I paid out of pocket.

It's been almost a month and the contractor company has not completed the repair. I had to contact them to schedule them to come out because they didn't reach out. They said the business was really busy. I understood and scheduled the appointment. The tech came out to assess, but didn't have a part that was needed to complete the repair. He stated it could take up to two weeks to receive the part, and that they would reach out. Not happy I get promised I’m getting called back, this has been twice and have not gotten a return call. I’m not happy with the service, two weeks ago I was trying to cancel but representar said she was going to review and try to help me because I have a good plan but I mentioned that I was told I was not covered for repairs so I wish to cancel.

We are waiting for an oven hood to be changed for last 3 months. It was broken last October. After waiting for so many months ultimately home shield sent a new ovenhood but last 3 months we are waiting to get it installed. Every time, home shield sends it to a company but they are not contacting us. Every week, we call home shield and they are sending a new order to that company. That's it. Our sump pump was gone. The issue was not repaired because the item in question was recommended to be replaced and they said no.

I scheduled an appointment via phone and the time frame kept getting pushed back. Finally, after 4 hours of not showing up after the original time slot, I called to reschedule. The representative on the phone was extremely rude and did not want to reschedule at all, stating they still had an hour to show up before 5'oclock, even though my original window was 8-12. not really. i am just tired of repeating myself with the representatives. They all act like they do not understand what you are saying. I am constantly repeating myself. With no resolution.
