We waited almost 3 weeks for an a.c. repair, this was during a heatwave. We are in our 70s with heath issue's and temps in 108° to 112° heat index they did not even consider escalating our issue. Finally we called and ask to get our own people and upgrade to a better system than they would put in and pay the difference. We've been with AHS for almost 21 yrs . We would have to wait days for a supervisor to call us back.

AHS is horrible. Do not expect truth from them, a call or email or reimbursement as promised.

When I purchased my home, my realtor bought me a year with American Home Shield. We used them one time and it took 4 visits to get the problem fixed and they charged me my deductible every time. So basically, I felt as if the Tech did just enough to keep it going knowing that I would have to call them back. I finally fixed the problem myself for less than what the Tech had charged me for the 4 service calls. and of course, I did not re-new the plan.

Rep was hard to u drrstanf. Didn't offer a solution to my problem. Refrigerator not fixed snd couldn't offer another vendor to help us fue yo Mr no Appliance can't make ituntil sept. Rep needs more empathy

Slow in offering a resolution. One of their reps mentioned a CIL when I was displeased with the estimate from their HVAC provider. Never heard any details about a CIL even though I asked for an explanation.

I called them to get my refrigerator repaired over a month ago and it still isn't fixed! I have called them 4 times and have been hung up on twice after being placed on hold for 5+ minutes

Tech failed to correctly identify problem and then my contract would not cover maintenance repair.
