AHS sent out a 1 star rated company to inspect. They tried to sell me new units. Wrote up a bogus report on one of them that resulted in a denial. AHS refuses to send out a new vendor to inspect which is my right under the policy. BBB complaint is pending resolution. Do not use their this service. They are terrible, customer service representatives will frequently put you on hold and or disconnect the line as they are unable to escalate to a manager who actually has authority to do anything. Contractor's first visit was prompt. Haven't seen them since. They say the air handler needed is not available. It has been two weeks now! Required payment up front and haven't seen them since. Would not recommend AHS use this contractor. Required payment for parts and still don't have!!le. It has now been two weeks!

I needed a washer repair... it took over a week to get scheduled, but then the technician was great. Needed a part, another 7+ days. Then to try to reschedule was the run-around. AHS gave me instructions to call service company directly... held 20 min. to be told by them, AHS has to contact them to get it rescheduled. What I found is, the 1st call goes pretty smoothly, but the follow up is hard to schedule on-line or to make contact with the service company. Needs to somehow be streamlined please.

My expectation was that having AHS warranty would save me major out if pocket costs on home repairs which is not the case. I'm practically buying a new ac unit that has been holding on with replacement parts and freon that is outdated, yet my home warranty doesn't cover it. I'm disappointed. Also given conflicting info about what is our isn't covered with the first saying she believes it will be fully covered, only to have a "manager" call to tell me all that isn't covered. Couldn’t understand the agents on the phone. I was given several different quotes and the roofing guy has my roof looking terrible. Could have been patched much better. I still think I need a new roof. This is why I have insurance with American Homeshield.

Terrible experience. Renewed in late October. Called my dryer in for service 11/12/2023. It is now January with no resolution is sight. I have called numerous times, they allege they are escalating my request to no avail. Had I known I would not have renewed in October and just used that money to buy a new dryer. Extremely disappointed with this company.

I have had much success with them up until this point. My dryer has been broken since August. The service provider came out and did not fix the issue then requested 8 hour service windows to come back out. Myself and my husband both work. I call AHS, I can barely understand them, they lie and say they are escalating my issue and I hear nothing. I'm still waiting to this day. In premiums I've paid enough to purchase a new dryer.

Cannot reach someone when AHS cannot locate a vendor or cannot get a second opionion when a contractor makes a wrong assessment.
