There's been a double billing on my account and American Home Shield has yet to issue a refund. Not all technicians are concerned or knowledgeable, had to call for repeat of work repair.

So, AHS. Big no for us. Our claim was denied without much of an explanation. We went back and forth on it for awhile and finally they sent someone. He was very rude and unprofessional. It cost much more than it should have. If you’re handy or close to someone that is. Save your money. No, literally. We canceled AHS and just add what would be the monthly premium + $100 to our savings account every two weeks for home sinking fund. Had to pay over 3000 for AC unit that was covered but they refuse to pay since it was within the first 45 days of coverage.

It is very bad in customer service and unprofessional agents. They took morethan two months to repair and replace a single resident dishwasher.

AHS insisted that my dishwasher be repaired vs replaced. Five months later and invoices for parts and labor totaling $1432.17 and the dishwasher is not working AHS decided to replace the dishwasher. The option offered with no cost to me was a piece of junk. After much deliberation and research I purchased a dishwasher from an independent dealer. AHS will now pay me $379.62 for the dishwasher and is refusing to cover the cost of installation which my warrenty states is covered. I will absolutely not recomend AHS to anyone at ... read more
