We called June 16 due to leaking AC ducting. AC failed June 27 and tech showed up that day due to previous call. He notified AHS of parts needed to be repaired. AHS has informed us that they are short staffed and have not ordered parts yet and they cannot expedite repair although temps in 90s. We continue to wait for parts to be ordered and today the status on website says cash settlement offered but they have not contacted us with that offer. I am paying for a service with a company that is subpar, less than stellar. I understand that the warranty I pay for will not cover all areas, as the representative stated, normal wear and tear. I get it and I understand it. Before your customer service reps ill-advise your customers on details, ask that they listen to your customers first. My call on Friday night to AHS was regarding to no heat I understand that my heat pump could not be repaired by said contractor because wires were damaged by a previous company. AHS takes too long to provide service...and when NO agent is available 48 hrs is too long. The Plumbing firm you use in CO (Crown Home Service) is Nonresponsive and you still use them. Any plumbing issues take a minimum of 48 hrs and that is too long for a rental to NOT have service.

It takes American Home Shield too long to do repairs especially HVACs in Huntsville, AL! AHS does not vet vendors, I told them that Best Air is horrible, yet there still a vendor with AHS. It took months to repair an air conditioner last summer. An AHS VP in Northern AL promised a credit but I never got it.

1st Water heater died. Called Home shield, put me on hold for 30min, then disconnected me. Called back, another 15min on hold spoke with someone and they would alert the service provider whch could 24-48hrs before they could call to SET-UP the appointment. 2 Days to wait for a set-up and then how many days to wait for them to get here without a working water heater. We waited 2 days, called back and they said the ticket was cancelled. CANCELLED??? How?? Who/Why??? No information, just it had been canceled. I contacted my own... read more

we have had isuies that are still pending, Fix stove in guest house. do a complete final list check!!!.

They sent a cheap plumber who claimed my problem was pre-existing. When trying to give proof it wasn't pre-existing I couldn't get through on the phone to a supervisor or anyone who could help me. I felt ignored
