AHS coverage is lacking. You cover certain parts but don't cover the installation of the parts. I had a water heater replaced and had to pay hundreds to get it installed because the installer wanted the connections to be new. We agree they should be new with a new heater but that should be covered. It was not required by code. Likewise, we got our coil replaced. It took about 4 to 5 days for the technician to come out. I would have liked it to be sooner than that. Otherwise, the level of service was good. The technician was very knowledgeable and repaired my appliance. It was a good value having American Home Shield.
Plumbing experiences have been excellent .
A/C went out and the part had be ordered from the factory. AHS stayed in touch with me every other day to keep me appraised of situation. Finally got it fixed
I like American Home Shields prompt response to all of my issues. Very pleased with the professionalism they exhibit.
Had a microwave and dishwasher replaced. Recently had our 2 year dishwasher fixed without issue. Service was professional and timely.
