Took 6 months to to repair stove and they put in a early part where I lost self clean and fan will not cut off so can’t even spray cleaner. Plan on calling new service
The wait time has become bad 45min to 1hr. Everytime

Because there is no ZERO STAR. Contractors are inexperienced and/or sub-par. With AHS, you can never speak with a supervisor because they are always “in a meeting” or “unavailable right now”. If you start complaining to the clerks answering the phones (in Manila!) they hang up on you. “The part order is in process” was the response I got for 14 days in a row.

Wait time is ridiculous, expect to be on hold for at least 45 minutes to speak to someone. My A/C has been out for going on 6 days now (in 100+ degree temps) and I have yet to even hear from AHS to let me know the status of my service request. I have called 3 times to get an update on my request for an AC repair and have been on hold for an hour each time. American Home Shield is not what they there are. They stuck me with a 1550.00 bill when it was there mistake. I called the office to complaint know one has contacted me. DON'T BUY AMERICAN HOME SHIELD.

There seems to be a reason that something isn’t covered. You don’t know that until you spend $75 to have a sub contractor give that estimate. So far AHS has cost me more money than it would have cost me to “insure” myself!

I had a new water heater installed that was bad. Got a pre authorization and immediately emailed the invoice that I paid in full . Called 11 times with average hold time is 45 min to talk to someone. The call was escalated every time because even after email confirmation they had nothing. It is now 3 month later and sill have not been paid and can not get an answer when I will be paid. They completely drop the ball every time I call. So frustrating I have literally been on the phone with them all freaking day.
Customer service is horrible, this company is extremely incompetent and doesn't care about it's patrons.
