Horrible! I put in a service request on 30 Sep. The service company came out on 5 Oct and said my dryer needs a new motor and mother board. This info was reported to AHS on 7 Oct. I have been calling AHS about my dryer since that time. Each rep gives me a different answer as to why the parts have not been sent to the service company. On 13 Oct I was told the parts Dept was behind. Today the rep said she was going to look into it and call me tomorrow. There are four of us that live in this house and I need my dryer fixed. It's quite unfortunate, when an American Home Shield Contractor comes to your home for a service repair and mislead a client by implying a repair item can be replaced. American Home Shield shouldn't mislead it's clients by saying they'll replace a repair item if it's not repairable!!

Customer service is horrible, the contract constantly changes depending on who you talk with the fees change every time you call in. I have been with American Homeshield for 5 years and the last year the service has been horrible canceling them today

I have an ongoing problem with AmericanHome Shield and until it is resolved I will not upgrade my experience with them.

I'm very unhapy, there is no way I can talk with a manager about I did not receive the 5 contracts, i purchased,, I need them for the income tax purpose, I called many times, no body can help me. Can a manager give me a phone call, I need to resolve this problem. Thanks Maria Melero

I filed (and paid for) a claim in October of 2019 when I purchased my home. Its is now June 2020 and my stove and refrigerator still don't work properly. The original contractor came out and said that the refrigerator needed to be fixed and the stove replaced. AHS tried to dispatch another contractor a few days later for a second opinion because they THINK BLACK BUSINESSES ARE INCOMPETENT. AHS hasn't done anything but give me the run-around for 10 months. AHS lack of concern with improper installation of my water heater, failure to provide a timely appointment and lack of followup to ensure issues were resolved was a disappointment after years of having the service and little to no use.

The contractors they send you take to long to come and fix your problem and they don’t work on weekends.
