I switched to AHS because my payment randomly increased with my past company. I was told it wouldn't with AHS advertised on the website and over the phone, but that wasn't true this year it jumped 13 dollars. I've only used the warranty one time so far... the service was great the company that came out was amazing. The balloon payment is my only negative so far.

Can not reach anyone by phone in a timely manner
AHS charges me $85/month and $75 for each service fee. On top of that I end up paying to the technicians that come to.my house for repair. I call AHS and they assure me the payment will be reimbursed to me but it is not. I get tored of paying more money than I'm supposed to for repairs. I don't need AHS to hire a repair guy. I can do it on my own. That way I will have things fixed for less.

Service man checked furnace - needed a motherboard- he said couldn't get for 8 days. since it was 20 degrees outside we decided to get a new furnace he more than doubled the price . we cancelled and STILL have not gotten a refund. Had someone else fix it the next day for $635.00. NOT HAPPY AT ALL

Had company for 3+ Years. Sometimes have to have repair guys come back twice. My last repair on ice maker started 3 months ago i had 4+ service companies came out 3rd one said would order part 1 month later he said he was looking for part number, last guy said need freon but he does not do freon. I asked AHS for manager. They said manager will call back in 24 hours and i wanted to get my own person to fix. 2 weeks later still waiting for call back. Long hold times. They charge a service fee whether or not they actually "fix anything" -- just for coming out

Some providers are not in our area and we have waited hours for help
Not sure how AHS is getting anything above a 1 or 2 star review. I suspect most of these reviews are not legit. I've had a horrible experience with them. First, they wouldn't replace our AC that was almost 20 years old when it failed, then it was next to impossible to reach someone to cancel the service and when I finally did, they wanted to charge me a fee. Would not recommend this company to anyone.
