Unacceptable service. No sense of urgency in getting repair done. No emergency service. Even smallest part needs to be approved and then shipped to contractor and then ship to wrong address. No AC in 90 degree weather for 11 days. Customer service says will do something then contractor says they never authorized. Senior citizens with medical issues and this has been unbearable for us.

Hold time 46 min, service agent is unapologetic. I’m paying over $100 per month, this is too much. U.S. Air Air Conditioning should be held accountable for delays in service. Filed service request on May 31, 2020 today is June 9, 2020 and the job is pending and outside temps are above 90 degrees.

These are absolutely the WORST people to deal with!!! This is the second time they have tried to send out repair people who won’t show up for three days out. The first time Zthe plumbing was clogged, and the company couldn’t get to it for 2 days. So I’m not supposed to shower or flush the toilet for 2 days???? Give me a break. Today the A/C broke, and the company they tried to send out couldn’t be here (again) for 2 days (in 90 degree heat). This is the BIGGEST scam I have ever seen!!! I have been a customer for many years, and the AHS experience gets worse every year. During the past year, I have been on hold literally for hours waiting to speak with an agent. Clearly it is a foreign call center - for many agents, obviously English is not their native language. And unfortunately, the quality of the contractors has deteriorated to the point that it is no longer worth the hassle. This is the year that I cancel. For good.

When replacing items American Home Shield does not offer the customer with replacement choices!

AHS has been responsive to most requests and has saved me money, but they refuse to reimburse me for the replacement of a washer that they could not repair. I am out nearly a thousand dollars because they keep trying to only pay part of the cost even though they gave me a higher figure to use when purchasing a replacement washer. I submitted all the needed documentation and each time I call they say they need to do 'research' and then never send out a check.
