THIS IS A SCAM...DO NOT FALL FOR IT! My "warranty" came with the house I purchased so I thought I would give it a shot and set up a service call. I paid my $100 deductible and set up a visit with a plumber. You are only allowed to include up to 4 items for each visit. NOTHING was taken care of. I was told I could only get the one thing (leaking garbage disposal) covered but to do so I needed to pay an additional $595 to replace the trap. Are you kidding me?!? Took 4 months to try to fix my fridge. Then closed the service request without fixing it. No email support offered. No chat support offered, you need to call in every time. Refused to let me talk to a manager when calling in. More than happy to have an endless string of ongoing repairs, will never admit that the entire unit needs to be replaced.
Was with AHS for years and then switched to a less expensive company. Disastrous--ending up costing me $6,000.

Several times they have told me that someone would contact me and never did
They have never replied to my email to see if my new appliance is covered.
Hard to speak with someone on the phone. All automated and takes a long time to speak to a represenetive.

AHS is very difficult to deal with and has many exclusions based on their interpretation of your contract with them. It is also extremely difficult to talk to anyone in a supervisory position should a problem occur. Hold times can be literally hours. The employees are trained to obstruct requests to speak to a supervisor and use tactics like putting you in hold while they "look" for a supervisor and returning after a lengthy wait to say they are not available. They are very slow reimbursing for authorized work; I’ve been waiting 6 weeks after contacting them multiple times.

Average of 45 minute wait time to contact AHS by phone is unacceptable. No provisions for call out in emergency situations or weekend hours. Resolution to issues that arise takes days, weeks!
