BEWARE! AHS has great sales team. They answered their calls within 30 seconds and made unbelievable promises. However, if you have a problem the customer service wait time is 45 minutes to an hour. They will dance around the problem and denied your claims at the end. My sink clogged due to improper installation of the garbage disposal which I didn't know. It's so hard to get ahold of customer service by phone
They have been dishonest about the warranty policy, refusing to cover issues that are clearly covered in the warranty. They use substandard contractors that cause more problems than they fix. Time to fix problems is often unreasonable. Repair techs have to contact Home Shield for authorization and many times have to wait hours for someone to answer. Our refrigerator broke before Thanksgiving. It took weeks for one of their service providers to come out and then they ordered the wrong part. It is now February and the refrigerator is still broken. We have dealt with techs ordering the wrong parts, losing the parts, saying they never got the parts, parts were sent to the wrong place, forgetting they scheduled us for the service.
