I wouldn't use this company for anything and here's why... I purchased a home and part of the negotiations between seller and buyer was an American Home Shield (AHS) warranty. Three weeks into our new home we experience toilets got backed up with raw sewage coming up through the shower drain... alas I call AHS. I've called several times and each time I've had to wait between 40 to 60 minutes for someone to actually answer the phone! They quickly took another $75 for a service fee to have them contact a contractor for repairs... read more

It took almost 3 wk to get a new water heater because you sent the wrong plumber out the first time and the second took their time coming out

They don't check quality and reviews of the contractors. They have some horrible and dishonest contractors. It is very difficult to get your money back due to thier mistake of overcharging you even if they agree. They should post the service charge once contractor makes appt. However I was charged immediately. I canceled the service request within 2 hours of making it. One hour was due to waiting on the phone. They process my re-found on Jun 27th. Takes too much time to replace an item and lack of professional to do a job where I had to find a plumber instead of the company.

this company bad does not hold there contract. i been fighting with them almost to pay to fix my AC i had to hire lawyer go after them to get my money they owe money, they scram people out they money i have judgement aganist them

They cannot solve your issue. Once you provide feedback about technician, they do not take follow up

Dislike not being able to reach a human being. I've been calling since July off and on as of today still receive repeated recorded service. I've stayed on the line fro at least 1 hour, no one ever answers, just repeated recorded message. Totally unacceptable to paying customers. I received letter from AHS with increase in monthly payment for an offer that I did not authorize to add to Plan. Interesting, when I called regarding this, no one answers the phone.
