Have two contracts with them. So many issues. Cancelling and never again use them. Terrible.
A erican Home Shield is a good home warranty company. I've used them with my other two homes. However, this time I had trouble with a particular company. It almost a month to get may oven range repaired and that's unacceptable.
American Home Shield is a typical insurance company, take premiums each month; but hate to pay out a claim. I have been promised a supervisor at least 4 times. Never get a call back. Approved a claim for two central air-condition units. There service tech wants an additional $4,500 to put in the units, each. Why have insurance? Asked for the buyout, the 4 ton buy out is $1,200 and the 2 ton, $1,500.?????? Makes no sense, at all. They have put me on hold and then disconnect the call; then never call back. The guy who repaired the refrigerator scratched our refrigerator. He promised to come back and fix it but no response.
some of their contractors are not very honest and they are inconsiderate of working people's schedules
Poor customer service, they use inadequate contractors who don’t know what they are doing. They charge you again if u call back in 31 days later for the same problem. They make the customer deal with the contractors instead of them making sure service call is properly completed

The commercial says no unexpected bills. There are so many exclusions that I spent over 4K getting my air fixed. I understand Freon but not the other exclusions. Then I my microwave door handle broke off. They decided a door is cosmetic and refused to pay for it. So I pay motherly charge, the $100 for service call and for the door to be replaced.
