I have referred 4 homes to this company and have been getting flipped off by the customer service representatives! They would put me on hold for sometimes over 2 plus hours then drop my call ! The last representative I spoke with advised me to go online and write in the person’s name and physical address to receive my Amazon gift card but alas ! Poor customer service representatives' lack of knowledge, providing incorrect information, extremely long wait and failure to repair problem requiring repeat services year after year.

I was told my service account was past due for the month although my credit card was already on file.
they did terrible job on AC unit. Very sad been with them long time.

Awful, Awful experience with American Home Shield - 1st call 45 minutes no answer just the same music as I waited for a live person. Called back the next day 50 minutes on hold waiting for a live rep. They then answered and the rep was somewhat rude. She asked for my telephone number which I gave her. She stated she had to put me on hold while she looked up some information - but instead she disconnected me. I then put in a request on line for a new policy (even though I already had a policy). I have had horrible service expereince with American Home Shield (AHS). They do a very good job of taking your money, but do a horrible job of providing any service. I have been a client for three years. During that time I have had to replace the coolant in my AC unit each year. This typically cost around $400, which includes a $100 fee to AHS for initiating a service request and about $300 in coolant costs, as AHS will only cover $10 per pound of coolant. Terrible. American Home Shield has got to be one of the worst home warranty companies out there. They use sub standard contractors that do terrible work or no work at all. They are a complete waste of money and only survive because they pay websites to give them favorable reviews without ever checking with actual customers. Do not use them. You will be sorry
Took four months to resolve my microwave issue. No one in the area that handles appliances would answer the phone. Wait times were HOURS long, if answered at all.
