Generally the customer service with directly interacting with American Home Shield is extremely poor and time consuming. Most of the time it takes 10 days to get a contractor and this never meets my needs. My most recent one was fast but I consider this an anomaly with the long history I have with American Home Shield. At this time I would really not recommend them until they get more contractors on board who can service you much quicker
Normally have positive reviews for AHS. Unfortunately, this last experience I have had has been nothing short of a NIGHTMARE! Every time I call, I wait on hold for just under one hour. Then, when I speak to a representative, they say there is nothing they can do about my issue (which is that my appliance has not been fixed yet and it's going on 8 weeks). My three year old covered refrigerator has had the main board replaced 4 times by 2 companies since May ‘20 with no success. Our family of six has endured a pandemic and the holidays with no refrigerator due to your refusal to honor the replacement guarantee.

I find some of their contractors are not as good/knowledgeable about the service you called for.
This is my first review for anything, and I am writing so that at least some of the future customers will get a sense of what they are signing up for. My monthly rate basically doubled and I was not notified. I’m actually looking forward a new warranty company
I submitted 2 work orders and the appliance guy never showed up but yet my account was charged tbe $100.00
