Replacement parts are off brand. I had a new AC compressor replaced 2 weeks ago. Already went bad, and it’s super hot outside. Takes too long to get the part as well.

I have had a contract with American Home Shield for almost 10 years. Typically their customer service and in-home service are satisfactory. However, my most recent issue (which has not been resolved) started more than one month ago with my air conditioner. The vendor notified me (without coming into my home) that I owed $300 in order to fix it and that AHS does not cover it. I have called AHS at least 8 times, and have been on hold for at least a half hour and other times almost an hour. I keep getting the same response that... read more

I was on hold for over an hour 3 times and its been 6 days since a tech came to my house to fix my washer and he needed permission to fix it and no one has gotten back to me.

AC repaired quickly, hot water tank replaced, dishwasher took 2 months to repair with a bad motor that went out within a month. No acknowledgement from AHS, so I bought a new dishwasher .
I had to report the vendor to ASH as they were the worst of the worst and have been put on never come to my home again.

because i was charged a deductible, then told by the contractor my issue was not covered and then charged again by the contractor. It has been three days and american home shield was suppose to call me back. I get the same run round each time I call. No one speaks english, they are difficult to understand.

Everyone I know am friends with and those I have talked KNOW that any requests filed with American Home Shield will be denied. This plan was purchased by my sellers for any issues after I buy the house. Upon receiving the warrenty, I knew if I needed it you all would not honor the warrenty if anything went wrong. Well my AC needed replacement, I called- someone came out and GUESS WHAT, your company found every way to push the blame on everything that the warrenty will not cover.
