My first service request til now hasn't been resolved

Horrible customer service. Regular hold times of well over an hour. 2 hours 10 minutes on one occasion. It took 4 days of 87 degrees in our house , multiple attempts to call, hours and hours of hold time before they finally gave up on the original contractor and send someone else. Because of the horrible support of their contractors horrible service, we are cancelling 2 properties and going with another warranty service- who by the way includes freon with their coverage (additional $175 charge)
It appears some of the companies AHS contract with aren't that great. Meaning, if you check reviews such as Yelp or Google; the companies appear not to be on top of their game. Definitely, hit or miss with some of the contracted companies.
Buyer beware...AHS has no consideration for your situation, they hold fast to your contract. The company has received my payments on time, quickly took my money for the service fee, but has felt no urgency to resolve my issue. My AC went out on Thursday, they didn't send a vendor until Monday. Temp inside my house has been 80° for 5 days now. They did not deem this an emergency so I could get my HVAC company that performs my biannual tune ups to come out(they would have fixed it Friday). Instead told per my contract, it says... read more

They are almost impossible to contact and when you do get through to them it is almo0st impossible to understand the person, especially for older people. I am still waiting on the payment on the stove that couldn't be fixed in November of 2020.

I called to get fixed and they said its covered. I get a phone call from contract company it is not covered. I called AHS 3 times and 2 out of 3 said it was from Puerto Rico. The operators do not know how to do customer service when I called 2 out of 3 times saying it is covered and one was trying to make another work order.
