I went to Bestco and was advised that American Home Shield would resolve the issue immediately. I provided all of the details including filing a demand letter to AHS Alternative Dispute Resolution. Since then, I received a call from one of their customer service advisors that advised he had to check phone records. It's been three weeks and there has been no additional contacts from AHS. Still an issue about my AC duct work. Need to have it fixed.
On 7/15/20 I filed a repair request. On 7/23 the assigned company come out to fix..they determined I need a new a/c home unit. IT TOOK 2 MONTHS TO GET THE NEW A/C COMPRESSOR and have my a/c fixed --finally on 9/16/2020 ! I lost the entire summer. During these 2 months, I called -at least- 4 times--each time is was an average of 20 minutes, just for them to answer the phone. Each time, the person said they would call me back with more information, not one person called me back.....I would not recommend this company!
Terrible communications. You've off-shored your "service" reps and I can hardly understand them. Wait times on phone or chat are ridiculous. Problems are not always addressed timely or correctly. I've never had another home warranty company so don't know what a comparison would show.

Always need to pay out of pocket on top of the $100 fee. Phone answering take hours!!! I mean more than two hours, then they transfer me to another department, with waiting time of another 2 hours. 4 hours total in the phone to find out details of the replacement.
They didn’t replace my heater water cuz it’s still working. But sometime it not enough hot water! Why wait until it break down then water will be all over in attic and leak to upstairs area?
Because the repair company they sent to repair your appliance,fix it wright,no gust work

The worse home warranty company on planet earth. I called because my sump pump was not working they denied it because my Ac condensation small pipe was hooked up to the sump pump. My water heater is leaking water they will replace it, but I have to pay 350 for modification cost out of pocket. My house was built in 2010 I know for a fact it doesn’t need any modifications.
