They were very fast for my heater and my air conditioner but for my oven they were 5 months in getting it fixed and some of the customer service people were quite rude.
Reliable but not timely. Need to wait longer for replacement parts.
They mislead me on their coverage and they provided a loop hole in order not to pay for repairs needed on my AC unit

I'm trying to get my leak fixed in my air conditioner and they are having a hard time approving it's very frustrating

Don't waste your time and money! That's what I'm telling everyone I know concerning American Home Shield! What little good we received through AHS was completely overshadowed by how they handled our last service request. Our HVAC system wasn't cooling like it should so we put in a service request and also requested the contractor whom we are familiar with and know that the work will be done professionally and to the highest standard. I want to give them 0 star for harassing me for not processing my work request on time due to outstanding bills. I have talked to service rep couple of times at various occasions and they have told me clearly that my bills are paid on time but their system has not been updated by their accountant. It has been 3 weeks since they said they will get back to me to take my work order. No one has called me back and my account still shows past due.
