I’ve had unresolved issues that cost me out of pocket cost after my service fee and monthly installment!
My water heater burst on friday december 4th. I have an american home shield warranty so i created a service request through their website. In only a few hours i was assigned a plumbing company. According to my contract with american home shield the plumbing company has 48 business hours to contact me. During these 48 hours I was allowed to contact the plumbing company myself. It takes quite a while to get the work done, a month for my refrigerator
Got the process started but had 3 different service calls to diagnose problem. Out of service for almost 3 weeks. No refrigerator for 3 weeks.
One request has not been fulfilled and the company hired has not reached in several weeks from the initial claim and their mailbox is full so you can't leave a message. Also, wait times to talk to someone at AHS are over 1 hour.

We added pool coverage on our insurance, we made two requests to get help with our pool equipment, none was covered

I can not recommend American Home Shield. It has been more than 2 months since our initial service request and we are still waiting to have a non-working water heater replaced. Numerous contacts with customer service have been made but no hot water yet! Disappointed!

Unhelpful and will always try their best to no pay for anything.
Company has serious process problem if anything out of norm. I been waiting for a May ticket to be resolved. Still not fixed after dozens of calls. Very 1 follow through. Customer support very limited in assisting and they have difficulty understanding what you are saying. Even after having my lawyer send a letter to company still no resolution
