For Arizona, AHS does not work very fast when it comes to AC repairs. They aren't based in AZ and so we are treated as if we can simply go 4-6 days without AC when it breaks down. That doesn't work well when its 117 degrees outside. Also, my second year contract jumped 13.50 per month without an explanation, simply here's your new monthly fee and you can cancel at any time. If there is a worse company in America I can't imagine what it would be. After requesting a change of service providers since the first one wasn't returning my calls, I scheduled an appointment with a second company. AMERICAN HOME SHIELD CANCELED THAT APPOINTMENT AND NEVER EVEN CALLED TO TELL ME!!!!!! I've been living in a house without air conditioning for a week and they treat me like this?? To say nothing of the bottom of the barrel service providers they recruit. uniformly awful reviews for good reason.

Time consuming trying to get someone on the phone. Too many phone numbers and buttons to push in the automated system. I purchased the 3x3 plan and read all parts and components covered. All parts and components ARE NOT COVERED.

Worst service ever. Customer service is terrible, close early, auto increase payments, auto renew... not fit for a modern day.

You warranty or insurance plan is only as good as the providers you contract with, and the HVAC contractor in our area is absolutely horrible. For the area, they have reviews of 2. Who would select a company like that with numerous 5 star reviews in the area. They are dishonest and a total scam, and you are too for using them.

Repeatedly asked company to not use a 1 star rated repair company, they would not listen to my reasoning. Ended up taken 2 months of frustration before paying for my new stove during the Holiday season. I was frustrated with the repair company (that I requested not to use). The second time Ibhad to use that same company for my refrigerator that company provided excellent service. I would have liked American Home Shield to listen better.

I have had an American Home Shield Warranty on one of my homes since 2017. While I cannot say I was overly impressed on prior service requests, the jobs were completed without complication. I put in a service request for repair of a water heater in June 2019. It is now September 2019. Authorizations department sat on it until I returned from summer travels. Now contractor relations department is sitting on it. It is a scam. They are giving me the run around.

My refrigerator has been out for almost two weeks now. On July 16th a technician was dispatched by AHS to diagnose and/or repair the problem. The technician stated that the compressor went out and directed me to call the manufacturer to see if it was under warranty. The manufacturer affirmed that it was but stated that it had to be diagnosed by a certified LG technician.
