When I bought my home the sellers bought a one year of coverage from AHS. I can see why the a/c system goes out at least once a year. When you call AHS it takes them about a week to send someone to fix the issue. One week? There is a 75 y.o. Person in the home. We live in Florida where the temp is in the high 90’s. We had to buy to room a/c units just to be able to stay in the house until AHS sends someone out. I have had 3 different homes covered by AHS..in the past ten years or so..they have finally convinced me that they are Irreputable and dishonest And will go to great lengths to avoid paying claims..stay away if you value your hard Earned money.!!

I haven’t had heat for 2 months now because the part was on back order. the technician came out today with the part and comes to tell me the other technician ordered the wrong part and that the part I need is still on back order and they don’t know when it will be in. We purchased a AHS warranty with our new home. When a rep for the water company came I was outside moving things in so I was talking to her. She lifted the water meter cover on the street and the could tell it was running even though there was no one inside the house and the ground was fairly wet. She moved something to the side and we could tell that the pipe was leaking at the hookup to the water meter - but it was on our portion of the pipe and not the water company's. This company is a rip off, because is ridiculous that my frigidaire work well for 5 years, and they can not fix because the compressor is LG warranty only the part, but they do not want to cover the labor, how stupid is this company that I have to pay on my own the labor with a different private contractor $600 to have fix. What a disappointment! Our claim was denied as a "pre existing" condition and therefore, not covered. The representative had a strong accent and was difficult to understand. Crazy excuses were given to me in addition to the pre-existing excuses... Years ago this company was so much better ~ now it is completely horrible.

I had a complete home warranty with AHS. My AC went out and I called AHS. It took them two and a half days to come out. They had a complete scam artist of a guy come out. He changed the run compassitor, and the system came back on. That SHOULD have been it. Turn the AC down and boom, its all over. But no, he went up in the attic and started messing around with the unit.
