Waited 2 weeks for an appliance repair company (Greenway Home Services) to come to my house to fix a non working dryer. It's been 72 hours since the repair company came and assessed what parts need to be fixed. I've still not heard from AHS and have called 3 days in a row to be told the same story. First, AHS needs to get reps that are in the U.S. Second, I asked to speak to a manager and was told they were busy. Third, I still don't have an answer on when my dryer will be fixed. Absolutely horrible! Don't waste your money. I called them to fix an improperly installed furnace. Furnace guys came out, did absolutely nothing after fiddling with the furnace for about 45 minutes. Left no paperwork and left. HORRIBLE. I called American Home Shield to say they didn't fix the problem...they said they would call them and call me back. Called them twice more and STILL never received a follow up call. And these #$%#$ers have the NERVE to send me a bill for the service charge?!?!?! ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MINDS!??!?... read more

My A/C has been out for almost 10 DAYS now. It took 3days to get them to send someone out to look at the unit. It is now taking a week to order a part. And, then they will have to schedule someone to come out to fix it. We live in Cypress, TX and they don't care that it is 100 degrees and that we are without air for 2 weeks with Kids. This company is horrible! Zero stars is my real rating. They send out contractors that don't fix anything and come up with every reason in the book to not approve a claim. I had them for a 3 years and I finally got rid of them yesterday. I am now in the market for a new company because I hate being taken advantage of. This company is not here to help, they are just here to take your money and provide no real service. I hope it is sooner than later that they don't exist.

Have had an AHS contract for two years. Did not need to use the first year. This year we had 2 failures. Hot Water heater went out and was repaired, although while repairing it, when re-pressurized the system had our expansion tank leak. The repair for the exp tank was not covered and we received an expensive invoice for such a minor part of the repair , but the Hot water tank was done well. 2nd failure, a refrigerator. I’m very happy with this last service. Not very happy with reason I had to call for it though. Last call was to have WATER HEATER replaced and tech did not replace one of the parts that failed.
