AHS sent repairman for the dryer, he said control board is a problem and will order. He called me back and said AHS is going to get a second opinion,... that was 10 days ago and we have no dryer Horrible service on part of AHS

This is a waist of money - needed to have a AC evaporator coil replaced - my regular AC company said it would be $2k. American home Shield said they would cover it but i'd need need to pay $2k in other charges - Gas Pipe Upgrade $175, Gas Stop $50, Hanging Kit $150, Hard Cast $150, Float Switch $175, Drain pan $300, Sediment Trap $75, Permit $275, Ductwork $275. I was approved for the cash out option to replace my furnace. Coverage was supposed to be $1500. They said they received my email receipt on Jan 8. A check was to be issued in 7-14 days. After 15 days passed, I have been calling every day. Finally after 27 days, they tell me a check was cut but it will be another 7-14 business days. SCAM! This company is unethical and rips off homeowners by contracting with unlicensed and sketchy contractors. We called to have our dishwasher repaired and they assigned us to an unlicensed company that has over 56 reviews, 1.5 stars, and multiple comments stating the company is a scam working with AHS. I had a horrible experience in getting a hot water heater replaced. I was without running hot water for a month. I ended up paying 1100 dollars to get the hot water heater replaced plus the service fee. Now, I am trying to cancel my warranty and am now being threatened with being turned over to a collection agency. DO NOT use this company.

service from providers ranges from poor to excellent. I had an issue that was never resolved satisfactorily so I wanted the $75 service back. I will not be renewing my contract.
