They are very helpfull.the only thing I didn't agree is they didn't cover my water heater because it was not installed correctly when I bought the house and I didn't know so it was not covered .I paid the 100 dollars. I had to buy the water heater my self and pay for it to be installed a total of. 778 dollars with the 100 dollar that I paid American Home Shield.

American Home shield is an absolute rip off. I pay every month and the 2 times that I've needed them in the last year and a half they always for one charge 100 dollars for service requests but then every company they outsource to works from 8-4 monday through Friday so I have to call off work and lose more money. The customer service is always someone from another country whenever I ask for a manager they place me on hold for ages and say there isnt one available.

i had a water heater problem and was told I needed to replace it. American home shield offerred a buy out of $450. It has been four months and numerious phone calls and have not received payment. They constantly give me excuses like they need a mailing address, tgen they needed a receipt, two times they told me the check was in the mail, not they tell me the mailing address was incorrect again. They are liars

THIS COMPANY DOESN'T EVEN WORTH 1 STAR!!! WORSE COMPANY EVER!!! I fell like I got scammed by them. I requested the service and the AC guy came in the next day. Then they called me and said my claim denied because my contract is to new to claim anything. So, they won't fix anything but took my $100 copay and said if I want to fix it I have to pay $600!!! Consumers be aware of American Home Shield miss guided business practices. We have been without a washer/dryer for close to four months. My contract is for replacement of failed parts or machines. I've been a customer of AHS for over four years. After four technicians were sent to our house and they all said that both washer and dryer need to be replaced. and after numerous calls and long wait times, AHS gave me an offer to replace only the washer with an inferior washer and they asked that I dismount the dryer from this sta... read more

I’ve been without a properly working AC Unit for 8 weeks. They have sent technicians out several times to make faulty repairs. Was without AC entirely for 7 days and they provided no hotel accommodations. Terrible company and terrible contractors. Don’t waste your time with them. Any time you call for help they connect you to someone in India or Pakistan who like to hang up on you.

I don’t even know where to begin on this, still on hold at the moment it has been 1 hour and 51 minutes. I requested help with a well pump. The guy called me and requested a picture of the pump. I sent one to him and have not heard from him since. $125 has been taken out of my bank for this project.
