I've been waiting 5 days to get an answer on the payout for my Water Heater. The contractor AHS sent out wants to add on charges of $1200, are you kidding me??? I was told they'd get this to me 4 days ago...clearly the business model is to send contractors out and have them upsell me on code violations and add-ons so they can make money, likely because AHS doesn't pay them a fair amount. Please don't give this company any of your money. I wish i could give them 0 stars. They knowingly deny, and delay claims as long as possible so that customers get frustrated and just do it themselves and then they refuse to reimburse because the contract requires they handle the repairs. My AC has been out for over a week, I have spoken to no less than half a dozen people and I called today and was told that they still need the technician to call them to request a new compressor, even though I was told last week that it was... read more

Don't waste your money and time with this company. A lot of stipulations and they are always having a clause why a claim cannot be covered. The contractors they assign take days to come and and they are limited on what they can do.

First I’d like to say is if I could’ve given them a zero I would have. Spoke with customer service regarding a denied claim to replace a part on my furnace. Denial is based on the fact that an internal part of my furnace apparently has corroded/or has rust and will not be covered by warranty because they state that my furnace has no been Maintained properly. Customer service is difficult to reach and the wait time is to long, Only having to be transferred to multiple departments

We have been a customer of AHS for many others and like many I have had a nightmare of an experience with them. Our A/C wasn't cooling so we placed a call and asked for immediate service if they could find a company to service us. My husband has COPD and was having difficulty breathing in the heat. We are from Kansas. They found someone to come out the next day. He claimed our A-coil needed cleaning. The only star that I can give is one star. As of now, I have waited another 2 hours to contact with them to get answer for getting the amount of pro rata refund amount. They will just direct to sales department and give general service number that is not the right department. Trust me it will just loop forever until the customer is tired and gave up at the end. You will be welcomed when you join at first time and renew, but you can't cancel the policy on your own because they will require you to call endless times. Avoid any... read more

I have had AHS for almost 30 years on multiple houses. I currently have 5 home warranties with them. This past year the responses and resolutions of matters have become horrible. I am trying to resolve two items one which has been ongoing since March and another in June. I get the same info. each time, it's being escalated, the service provider will be contacted and I will hear back from AHS within 48 hours.
