First I’d like to say is if I could’ve given them a zero I would have. Spoke with customer service regarding a denied claim to replace a part on my furnace. Denial is based on the fact that an internal part of my furnace apparently has corroded/or has rust and will not be covered by warranty because they state that my furnace has no been Maintained properly. We have been a customer of AHS for many others and like many I have had a nightmare of an experience with them. Our A/C wasn't cooling so we placed a call and asked for immediate service if they could find a company to service us. My husband has COPD and was having difficulty breathing in the heat. The only star that I can give is one star. As of now, I have waited another 2 hours to contact with them to get answer for getting the amount of pro rata refund amount. They will just direct to sales department and give general service number that is not the right department. Trust me it will just loop forever until the customer is tired and gave up at the end. I have had AHS for almost 30 years on multiple houses. I currently have 5 home warranties with them. This past year the responses and resolutions of matters have become horrible. I am trying to resolve two items one which has been ongoing since March and another in June. I get the same info. each time, it's being escalated, the service provider will be contacted and I will hear back from AHS within 48 hours. My AHS owner page advertised a heating system checkup. I clicked through and was charged the $75 fee. After a week went by without contact, I contacted AHS via Facebook Messenger. I learned that my request had been cancelled without notifying me because their contractor won't do heating system checks. Mind you, this was a special service advertised in the AHS owner center itself, and advertised via direct email to me.

Zero stars more likely. Every time you call...it is the run around with scripted answers. Their supervisors must be on the phone for days. I've been referred to 4 different times for the same GE Profile Refrigerator. They even referred me to the same company twice that doesn't work on this brand. Total waste of time and money. WARNING!!!! I purchased American Home Shield warranty. AHS Corporation is an American home warranty company based in Memphis, Tennessee.
